A Heaven There for Me is a gift to all of the conductors that continually seek me out at conventions and reading sessions, asking when I am going to compose a piece for treble voices with piano accompaniment. Journey this Road, a setting of a poem by Elena Ramón, highlights a new style of writing for me which emphasises the power and passion that simplicity can evoke.
